So….. I think the trailer length is ok.. It moved back when I got the front tires out of the rut… 😎   Tongue weight seems good… I need to extend and widen the rails for he front tires… maybe a piece with a break in it??  Getting closer now…..  😎  Coolest tow rig on earth…. Andy… What are you going to camp in while we are at the dunes????

going to be soo fun…. 😎  I’m going to make some spots for them front tires to sit exactly where they are..  then figure out how I want to get them down that rail a little easier… the front tires just barely stay on them…  Felt good just to have it all “mocked up”.. 😎  😎

I like the way this trailer is coming out!!

What do think about adding some expanded mesh between the frame rails, along the bottom edge of the rail, so you could toss totes in there for storage??

You know for all the extra race car parts you’re gonna need to carry with you…😎😎😎

yeah…. I think it would be handy to be able to throw shut under the rail… But again… I am trying to keep it as light as humanly possible… 😎 😎 I am thinking about throwing my spare on the axle in the middle… and use the light wood ramps.. I need to figure out how I want to mount them when stored and when in use…    one purpose trailer here…..   I am curious how different the trailer is going to tow as compared to Tow Bar on the baja on it’s own weight…??????? we load the baja up when we tow it too!!! 😎

Rear end is still up in the air. It’s swing axle. I do have some 3×3 arms in my back building. Just like the fact this trans is done, I could call my homies at Benco to build an irs unit, but that’s gonna cost more than this rail. Don’t know yet.

I’ve been in a few rails with beams, they beat the shit outta you, very little travel. So I don’t even wanna go out with mine as a beam rail. Not overly worried about weight, HP should offset that.
