Working on the body this weekend. Straitening dents, fixing lights, and tucking seals back in….The previous owner was taking it apart for restoration until hardware started to break.

4.5” Porsche wheels shod with 195/65 studded snow tires🤘

And some nos Briz bumpers for style. These were the COOLEST bumpers back in the day.

That looks great – love how each subsequent Bug uses different bumpers out of the 80s/90s 😁

Wren, the family pond got sold, we’ll have to hunt goose in the field. Or go to the river to hunt ducks.

I spent last weekend fixing a rust hole in the floor pan, installing a carpet kit and a new windshield.

Blue carpet courtesy of Heritage VW on their last U.S. trip.

Check out the undercoating on the hood and pan. Dealer? I’ve never seen it on the back side of the hood or quarter panels before.

I repainted seat frames, made some simple seat pads and installed seat belts.

Duct tape suspension seat mod? 🙂

I gave things a look over, installed Empi lady bug floor mats, and made a fuel pressure by-pass oriface to prevent flooding.

The idea is a small hole drilled between the inlet and outlet will keep pressure off of the carb inlet valve when the engine is not running.
