These red 63/64 cars seem to keep finding me. Jesse hooked me up with this one from Glenwood last year.
The plan is to go for an outlaw-look..not really lowered, but with aggressive fat tires…ralley style.
Its not perfect, but very promising & just the way I like them.
This one has some cool patina to work with!!!
“Life is a waterfall,
We’re one in the river and one again after the fall”looks like a beetle exploded out back…. 😎
Yeah sorry. Planning to come in early to clean up.
Great deal on either car. Can never go wrong on a Franz Build!

I agree… a Franz build is always a solid investment!!!! 😎 Who wants a turnkey car????
The low rider is a cool ass car. Hopefully someone scoops something up to help the $$ situation.
Brake job over the weekend. I blasted/painted backing plates and drums while I had them apart.
I was ready to bleed the brakes, and found the pedal was seized due to a mouse nest in the tunnel…looks like I have more cleaning to do.
Franz got a lot done this weekend!!!! 😎 Getting himself ahead.. One red beetle at a time!!!!! 😎 It’s honestly a gift that we can build our own cars…. 😎 😎
Yeah, not having a car payment is a huge benefit of being a car builder.
I’m sooo looking forward to cleaning the piss soaked nest out of the tunnel.
Nasty shit that has to be done.
I had that same issue with my heater tube on the bus. Always smelt like pine needles and mouse piss whenever there was heat going through it.:) Finally cut it out when I did the Subi swap.
I'm at the age where "fuck off", "fuck you", and "fuck it" answer most questions.
Poop drippin soup
Packed from front to back with rat nest.. I used the vacuum, pressure washer, and drain cleaner through all the tunnel access spots.
I rebuilt a different pedal assembly during the evenings last week also. Roller pedal for less moving parts.
