and you wanted to paint this car.. ha.. it’s bitchen!!
Proud and Stubborn 👍🏻
Thanks everyone!
Fun fact – I still want to paint it. I have almost all of the lower 6″ of metal on a shelf at home. I am resisting the urge to mess with it though. Drive and enjoy!

I know someone who has told you that a few times.

This car is deceiving. It looks pretty solid. I thought the Triple J boys looked after this one.
Josh & Co. did an outstanding job representing the car, no surprises at all. I’d buy from any of them again in a second. They didn’t do any of the paint/body work….they bought it as a “Jigsaw” puzzle….it had been blown apart for paint and never reassembled by a p/o, and that’s where their story with it began.
It is a solid car, but it does have some superficial rust creeping on the bottoms of some lower body panels. Pans, channels, pillars, nose are all groovy. I know there’s no reason at all to mess with it. I do try to take that OCD part of me and keep it locked away….so far I’m winning. 🙂

FOR SURE! Maybe it’s time to sell it and start another low light project? I will DONATE a shell and pan to anyone who wants to spend the money to build a super sick Low light…. 😎 But I am getting low on parts and the one’s I have have been picked through…

My kids (and I’m pretty sure my wife) wouldn’t be happy if I sold it. They’ve really grown attached to it being a part of the family. Plus I’ve added all of the features to this one that I want….I definitely don’t want to start over there, especially on another engine.
I really need to get off of my ass and install the rebuilt 4.12 trans I got from Scott Sain over a year ago, I’ve just not wanted to take it all apart to do it. Also have a dual circuit master and new hard brake lines I planned on installing for whenever I do drop the trans out.
Modified shoe boxes for no heat. Sand blasted yesterday and painted today. Ready to send out in a couple of days after the paint is fully cured.
Perfection! Those look great….thanks Franz!
Cars on Kiawah yesterday. 280 cars, only 4 VW’s. The Porsche 356 was the featured car this year, with over 30 there. Class winner was a ‘58 356A Speedster driven from Tennessee. My pile:

I could never spend BIG money on a car, but if I were to it would be one of these:
36hp Sebring by Tiger @ A-1 Perfomance. Video does it no justice….it’s rowdy!
This Ghia just keeps getting better and better!!!!
Proud and Stubborn 👍🏻
Looks sick Pete. The Porsche drums and steelies are going to give it a whole new look.
