Have a cool ski rack project planned for next week.

….And people are getting tax returns. So I expect the phone to start ringing with “Hey I have this ol’ VW my grandpa gave me, been sitting for 20 years, can you guys rebuild the whole thing for around $500?”

Working on a t34 ski rack for our friend Baird. Fabricating off of a picture. 3/4” .065” polished stainless tube.

Looks like a fun project.Β  How will it attach to the decklid?

I hope the guy loads it up with some equipment and uses it.

Using sea suckers to hold the rack. Each cup is rated at 40lbs.

Seasucker is local to me and the guy drives a VW bus.Β  I’ve used those mounts before and they hold WAY more than advertised.Β  easy on and off too.
