    Have a cool ski rack project planned for next week.

    ….And people are getting tax returns. So I expect the phone to start ringing with “Hey I have this ol’ VW my grandpa gave me, been sitting for 20 years, can you guys rebuild the whole thing for around $500?”

    Looks like a fun project.  How will it attach to the decklid?

    I hope the guy loads it up with some equipment and uses it.

    this is pretty weird.. I was looking up Rob Cress (RIP) the other day and ran into that awesome photo. Weird coincidence I guess.

    Robb was an awesome guy… I would say I barely knew him… wish I could have spent more time with the guy….  I’ve heard a few stories about him… He’s a Colorado Bus guy Legend!!!  😎

    Using sea suckers to hold the rack. Each cup is rated at 40lbs.

    Seasucker is local to me and the guy drives a VW bus.  I’ve used those mounts before and they hold WAY more than advertised.  easy on and off too.
