Ready to go.
Sweet!!!! Great seeing this back together and useful… 😎 and you hired the shop to help? Good move… Now, where’s my money! 😎

Woohoo! That was so quick! Will has been missing this thing so much..
Sanded and painted the rear bumper mount repairs on this ‘65 earlier today.
We will build it if it comes.

DAMN! Looks like that bearing cage might be finished… I’m sure the 930s will be quite a bit more tough. Thanks guys, I’m stoked to have my workhorse back in action. I’ll be by this week to grab it and settle up.
The Doka is back in action!!!!
Engine is back in on this ‘65! Sounds good!
This Fontana grey 65 is all cleaned up and ready to go.
Straitened out the rear fenders and bumper. Replaced a bracket, both uprights and support tubes with originals. New bumper grommets too.
Wolfsburg West tarboard kit and muffler make it look fresh.
Notice how nice the notches and tabs on the pulley are? Low mileage. Original everything, pump, distributor and carb.
Axle seal, engine oil change/filter, and brake adjustment for Jesse.
I think the axle leak may have been the fill plug leaking as oil is flinging on to it. The tapered pipe threads allow the plug to go deeper than usual. I wrapped it with Teflon tape to hopefully stay dry. You’ll want to keep and eye on it…I did the axle seal kit anyways and used silicone to make double sure. Power washed the oiled down wheel for you too. All clean.
And Jesse you were right about the main jets. I put the exhaust sniffer on it and it was a little rich on the top end. Probably perfect for sea level…. So, I’m going to change them for a size smaller unless you’re planning a trip west anytime soon?
Sounds good Franz. Change those jets and thanks for fixing that axle seal. Hope to see u guys on Saturday. What time does the race start
^^^ 8am Sat, 9am Sun.

Oh man… sounds like a few of us are going up!! I’m ready to roll at noonish
Working on Rick’s 76 super vert today. Installed a brosal/solex 30/31 carb and empi lowering struts.
The 10 spline lug bolts had me frustrated. I welded 10m nut to the heads so that I could get them off. Also had to cut the hood handle off to adjust the latch mech pull cable.
