JJ and I finished sanding and getting the auto stick car we’re painting all masked yesterday and this moring. Cleaned her up real nice in our fresh paint booth and JJ just finished sealing it 👍🏻
The Sealer that came with the car was old and thiccccc so we switched over to JJs usual stuff…👍🏻

The 48 Webers on this purple drag car had been contaminated with water, and took all afternoon to clean rust and corrosion out of.
I think this was maybe Bad Bones Matt from Denver old car? It was olive green at one point. 69 dressed like a 59 with early body parts.
I’ve had a few problems with the original Weber cold start fuel enrichment valves(choke) getting stuck open or leaking. I read the on samba the fix was to remove to stock spring and washer set-up, then drop a 3/8” tap and a allen plug on top of the valve to prevent it from opening.
Finished with some clear coat yesterday!! Looking great! 😎👌🏻Never make somebody a priority who makes you an option.
