Maybe you can get a little side to side adjustment out of the base. Usually I will re-dimple the shift rod under the driver’s seat.

Loving the DC and getting a bunch of smiles on the streets (including my own)!  I’m still doing some shake down rides around town.  Couple questions for you guys.  The rear passenger brake hardline is weeping a bit behind the fitting (red arrow in picture).  Am I better off just getting a new hardline and replacing the whole piece or is there a quicker fix?  Also what brake fluid type is in the system?

Thanks on the DOT3.  I gave it a tug a couple days ago.  I might give it one more pull.  See if it’s still weeps.  If so, back it off and try to seat it again.  If that doesn’t work, replace.

I’ve been driving the DC to work, when it’s not 100 degrees (which is only a couple days in the last 2 weeks).  Love it!!!!

Next up, I’m working on getting new seat covers, door cards, and material for the roof panels.  This might take some time tho.  I’m not quite as fast as KCW.

I got the repaired hubcap and t-shirts in the mail yesterday.  Thank you!

Clara makes all the interior stuff for commercials, that’s what’s in my dcab. Fits great and easy to install. don’t forget the sound insulation first.

  I’ve seen Clara’s, they are very nice.  Any recommendations on brand of insulation?

We’ve used this a few times, personal and customers.

No exposed foil to short out the fuse block or other wiring, doesn’t absorb water like jute padding.

Ended up getting the panels from SewFine in Denver.  The guys from West Coast Classic Restorations never got back to me.  I just got the panels yesterday.  They are tan vinyl, no inserts or tweed.   Haven’t fully opened the box with the panels, but it’s going to look sweet.

The bench seat covers are tan with black piping to match the steering wheel and knobs.  The covers haven’t arrived yet.

Finally, finally got some work done on the Double Cab.  I rebuilt and recovered the seats and installed the interior panels.  I don’t know what the trick is, but lining up those holes when drilling through the front of the panels is a pain in the ass.  Especially on those holes that are augered out from previous installations.  It took a while, but I think it came out pretty darn good!  Still need to do the kick panels and the roof panels.
