Looks like a blast.  Also looks like you need a bigger sway bar.  🙂

 

If you’ve never been to some of the RMVR (Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing) events, you should check it out.  They have a strong FV group and the rest of the cars are cool to check out as well.  I hope to get the Okrasa on the track at some point in it’s life.

Racing was a TON of fun…  I gave it hell for one round!!!  No way could I drive a bus that hard for 5 rounds…. and thats if the bus lasts…. I was FLOGGING that bitch that run… That was all I had in me and all the bus did too!!!!  I hit the rev limiter a few times in second… 😎 😎  I was leaning SOOOO hard in the seat while I was driving… I mean. that Bench seat…. It SUCKS for road racing….. 😎  😎

I think it was WAY harder on the bus than drag racing…

Looks like a ton of fun though! I remember one of my friends saying that putting a racing seat in his car was the single best modification for driving, if you’re gonna be railing it around corners!

I was thinking yesterday…. Makes me SOOOOOOOOO proud to share all our Volkswagen Experiences with all you guys.. We do much much much more than just work on VW’s…. We do sooo much more than just sand parts and cars Monday through Friday… and we share each and every moment with all of you guys…. It’s a Passion… not just a hobby… I surround myself with it, I embrace it and am proud of it… I have thrown ALL my egg’s on the table many many times to make shit happen around here.. Love this place… thanks to all who have helped me build it… 😎 😎 😎 😎

Painted my Ghia last week. Took it to the shop Monday. Body worked it Tuesday. Painted it Wednesday. Put it back together Thursday. New trim and nose badge came in today. Ready for the track!
