This is why I was seeing oil light in the corners…. opps…. 😎 😎 😎  Problem solved….   I am going to put a windage tray in every motor I build for now on!!! Shasta has some tight turns… I guess if you have a sump it isn’t needed…

lots of progress getting done each day!!! JJ primed the fenders Monday night, I sanded them down again yesterday while he worked the front and rear apron 👍🏻 Thanks for your help on the Windage Tray Pat and Franz!!

I pulled out the big air cleaner and the window fuel fill… probably like 10+ pounds right there!! Ordered a new fuel filler for inside the car 👍🏻

JJ did a dirty shop paint job yesterday on the aprons and b-pillar..

He even did some little touch-ups 👌🏻 #trailerqueen 😅

Tried to get this dent out with a football too… it’s very happy like that though 😬

It finally stopped raining so we could push the doormobile outside and paint the fenders this morning!!

Sweet one coat paint job 🤩

Now that parts are arriving I was able to check cam lobe to windage tray clearance.

Opened a hole up around to oil pickup tube to drop it down enough. 

We will build it if it comes.

DAVE!!  I was wondering what had happened with you!!   Now come on!!!  Timmy is the one who guided us through this new windage tray design….  So I am inclined to go with it…. Lets see a pic of how Dave does it… 😎

Car is going well!!!  But what a full time job this racecar is!!!

We have removed the big air cleaner, the fill in the 1/4 window, and trying to shave weight were we can…    Car is going to be LIGHT!!!!!!!!  Thinking I may need to start dieting for the next two weeks… I can drop 10 pounds in 2 weeks… it would be hard to get 10 more pounds off the car… 😎

I have decided to go ahead and fix and repair and refinish my hood and deck… 😎

Hooked up an LED strip for interior lighting. 

Knocked the high spots off the drums yesterday.
