Pearl Grey is nice and there is no rule that you have to stay with Blue. Sometimes it’s nice to have a bit of change in routine.

Stick with a ’58 color….maybe Palm Green with a touch of flattener?

That looks so clean.

I vote for  a flattened type military color. Use some heavy duty tractor equipment paint. I have always wanted to build a military-ish inspired VW that I can explore the forest roads around here in without fear of hitting branches etc.

I’ve never used that dry guide coat.  Is it like baby powder?  Do you prefer it over spray-on.  I’ve been using some thinned, black lacquer lately, but you have to load the gun to spray it every time.

Love it. Doesn’t clog the paper.. no gun cleaning 🧽😎.  No masking if that applies 😎😎😎But I bet a can of shake and shoot flat black is cheaper 🤫🤫🤫
