Got some worry gauges installed tonight. Gauges that she can watch so I don’t worry so much haha seemed to sit around 350 CHT and 190 oil temp on a 40 min loop.

wooohooo! Jb weld fix! Was super dry for like 3 days after the flywheel seal fix. Then it started leaking from this oil galley plug. Should be good now!

Back together! Leak seems better. Also added a thermostat back in. On my drive to work yesterday it took 25 min of freeway driving to come up to temp… too long pushing cold oil through the motor. Seemed to heat up nicely on the drive home tonight! She’s on her way tomorrow! Going to be a great trip for her.

Got some super cool camo finger gloves that say, “hot shot”.First stretch to Boise went AMAZING. I definitely might be too careful watching my gauges and listening to the motor, but honestly everything went super well. Head temp stayed around 350, oil temp was right around 180/185. Found a few spots to run, and hopefully today find a cool climbing area called swan falls to stay for a night! I love adventures in my bus! With my pup! 💜

Betty is happy. She’s pulling up hills like a beast. Still feels like I’m driving a boat in the Idaho wind. Feels good to be outside and taking it slow. Crazy to think that everyone else is moving at 10000mph. Hoping to find some cool back roads today on my way to UT and take my time.

Waited out a day of snow in American Fork. The day before was mostly driving from 6:30AM to 6/7PM. BIG day.

Heading to moab now—just passed helper! Betty did great going over the summit. However I definitely lost feeling In my right foot…and my leg so I had to switch to my left foot on the gas to get the feeling back. It’s COLD. Excited for some sun!!!!
