I am antsy to camp in her bus. We’ve got a weekend camp out/ climbing trip planned in a few weeks and it’ll be a good shake down drive for her bus. Just a couple hours away. Should be a lot of fun! Just have to get that stuff swapped out first
Is this gonna be there this weekend?? 😎 Are you gonna bring out a posse of chic climbers?? 😎 might make for some badd ass photo’s…. 😎 I hope it’s hot out….. 😎 scorching… 😎
Been a wild ride, but it got me here 😎
haha I don’t know if it’ll make it… Still haven’t tried to change her oil cooler yet with trying to get my DC ready. If I can get the DC running right in the next couple days I will try to change hers out in time. I might need to take it over to Team Fedex and borrow his lift to make it faster.
Emilee got her curtains in tonight! Pretty cool, she found them at savers. They are even on curtain rods. Pretty fancy haha
she also took her bus over to Jason’s house last night and he helped her get all her electrical sorted. All her lights, signals and speedo work now!
Next week we reserved a spot in Tony’s garage and are going to use his lift to pull her motor back out and change her oil cooler! Then she should be about ready for Moab. She can just play around with her interior until the campout and do short test drives around town ??
Nice work. ??
We will build it if it comes.
You don’t need to pull the engine.
Just take the rear tin off, remove the fan, and loosen the fan housing. You should be able to get things loose enough to wiggle the cooler out.
I’ve done this job laying in the dirt.
Ok, I’ll give it a whirl! It just seemed like that type 4 cooler is so big that it’d be hard to squeeze in there.
Cole has convinced me to make an account to keep you all updated. Here a couple photos from taking all my fat chick tin off to switch the oil cooler out a couple days ago. I shed a tear every time I take out a tin screw that took me an hour to put on.
Thanks for letting me crash you’re house and tools Tony, I know it’s against your religion to have bay windows over. Much appreciated.
🌞 baywindows are the shit 🌞
You feel the pain of all mechanics that have to take something apart again. Your bus will be better off for your attention. I’m still a little jealous you snaked the sale of your camper, as I had asked Sonny’s son on Friday if he would sell it.:) Super glad it has a good home.
I'm at the age where "fuck off", "fuck you", and "fuck it" answer most questions.
Ha! Did you get the job done then? That is not easy.

MOAB in 2 weeks!!!!

Switched out the oil cooler thanks to crashin cole. I wasn’t there yesterday so he messed something up and broke this piece off. Maybe why I’m getting some oil spraying up onto the back of my bus? He said it was really weird since we just replaced it. He said he barely touched it and it snapped off because it was so brittle.

Hard to tell if that’s actually cracked, or it just wasn’t installed properly to begin with? Either way, there are a lot of shitty ones on there market. Make sure your replacement is either NOS or made out of viton. I think Airhead parts has the viton version
what a badass rig ! Nice job.
I love your tag line ! hahahaha
fuck yea!
