And less air leaks.
And thermal protection too.
Willy, the headliner type sound deadener is cheaper, and lighter than the tar backed stuff they sell. Retromat is easy to work with and its peel n’ stick…No glue overspray to clean up.
Looking good! Love the small westy touches. Always makes things more interesting
New Limba interior panels arrived. Sanded a cleared test section on both new and old.
Had a color matched stain mixed up so new and all the woodwork will blend together.
Scraped old adhesive from a previous sticker veneer off the stove cabinet top. Should sand up nicely now.
Spent yesterday fixing pilling and missing sections of veneer on cabinets. More of the same planned for today.
We will build it if it comes.
Finished repairs and sanding on better then half of the cabinets between yesterday and today.
The others are sanded with just a few repairs still drying. I’ll finish sand those spots in the morning.
We will build it if it comes.
I just realized why Westy painted them with a brush…no masking.
I’d spray mine too.
Thank you Pat for all the attention to detail. This interior will POP! Cant wait to see the finished product. Getting it DONE as always
Popped the middle headliner panel in first thing today, marked the opening for the sub-hatch and got it cut out.
Prepped the new panels with pre-stain.
Laid down the first coat of stain. These need at least six hours of dry time before they will be ready for the second coat early in the morning.
We will build it if it comes.
Nice wood you’ve got there Pat.

Thanks y’all for noticing my wood…
Sanded panels and got the seconded coat of stain on this morning.
