We restored this BEAUTIFUL PGSG bus a few years back…. And then it sat waiting for an interior ever since. KB has been lucky enough to collect most of the KEY pieces and decided to bring it back over here to KCW…. 😎 😎 So… Here ya go… Were gonna walk you guys through a bitchen interior install!!! Lucky enough for us…. Kevin brought us an example of exactly what he wants and expects.. 😎
We need to sand and resurface the old stuff, cut all the rear wood panels, like the floor and roof and sides.. Commercial style in the cab..
Proud and Stubborn 👍🏻
Pat has been getting the roof bows and structure in and mounted the hatch and hardware and such… seal.. looks awesome.
Proud and Stubborn 👍🏻
Finally! Usable campers! Glad KCW gets shit done!

Negative. That’s later stuff, for So42’s and baywinders
Expecting a call anytime from KB… And a link to the right LIMBA laminate…
Pat is off to buy wood for the roof and sides… and floor….. 😎
Proud and Stubborn 👍🏻
Few pics from last week when I was fitting sub-hatch and wood work.
Closet cabinet needed a bit of attention.
Cleaned up awning mounts and made a new set of gaskets.
Made a pattern for the rear ceiling closing panel.
Today I was able to pick up all of the wood for the ceiling, walls, and floor.
Retro-sound insulation arrived today. We ordered 6 rolls, installed all of them today. We’re going to need to order 3 or so more rolls to finish the cab area, cargo doors, and rear parcel tray area.
We will build it if it comes.
Started cutting interior panels for this yesterday afternoon. Walls and roof panels are birch, floor is hardwood ply. All new panels will be veneered with the correct Limba wood.
Finished up all but the rear corners today.
Lighter panels are Baltic birch that are avail in 5’x5’ for ceiling panels.
For the long side we needed a larger panel to accommodate the length, decided on birch hardwood panel from HD, not near as flexible but will work great for flat panels since we’re going to veneer them.
We will build it if it comes.
Looking really good, Pat. Did you guys find a source for the Limba veneer yet?
We took the Goodrich bus to the paint store to have the westy interior tan paint matched. Trying to mask and paint the interior today.
