Now it can sit outside…. π
Honesty can potentially harm your relationship π’
This bus is looking SO SO GOOD! I need to grab a video of someone opening and closing that top!!! At Β BBB there was some pretty serious wind… people were putting their tents away… but the Dormobile tops never went down!! Stronger than I thought!! Seriously cool design….

No rear window in your parts stash here Chad. Only a couple of options in ours.
One has pits from welding/grinding. The other looks good just needs the tint cleaned off.
Do you have one you would like to send?
Tested the Westy wiring on Friday. Everything checked out.
Few more pics from Friday.
We will build it if it comes.
Chad where ya at???
One of the Jaloiuise windows was hardly opening at all once the mech was installed.Β
One of the window mech pieces was installed upside down when they were assembled, causing the mech to bind. Mech arm mount hole was below the middle window pivot moving it down about 1 1/2β from where it needs to be.
Incorrect.Β
Would’ve had to remove and disassemble the whole window to flip the piece around. Instead I reduced your overall weight and just drilled a hole in the correct location to fix it. Good to go.Β
Dug out all the parts for the fresh air vent.Β
Removed old seals. Filled a few gaps around the seal channel with some Moretite caulk.Β
And tested the ambulance fan wiring circuit.
We will build it if it comes.
If the tinted rear glass is nice and has the right logos, let’s do that…
If there’s an issue with the tinted rear let me know and I’ll dig something out and ship it.
Nice save on the Jalousie!
Been a long couple days… setting up for an industrial equipment show.
This morning I put the window mechs in. A few of them had a lot of side to side play in the actual arm, so I had to clamp them to get rid of the side to side play.
Kinda hard to see. Before and after.
Then drilled out and replaced the old pop rivets and old seal on the fresh air box cover.
Also drilled holes so I could screw in the Jalouise window trim.
Pulled and rebuilt the directional air box flaps yesterday. Ready for install this morning.
We will build it if it comes.
Sorted wiring on the ambulance fan switch. Everything works correctly now.
Installed a voltage adjusted for it.Β
Refreshed vent mechs in, ambulance fans work great!!!
We also bolted in the front door windows yesterday. Β
We will build it if it comes.
Note to self… find a black ambulance fan switch. π
Awesome to see the glass in.
Does the new wiper assembly fit right? Been biting my nails on that one.
Please remember to check headlight fitment… if I remember correctly, one of them isn’t in very solid. A little rotation and it just falls out.
Iβll check on the wiper assy fit today.
Rear window cleaned up nice. Installed. Thatβs the last piece of glass!!!
Packed up the trans for shipping yesterday also.Β
Starting on mechanicals. Riley is cleaning up your beam this morning.Β
We will build it if it comes.
Another “YOU GUYS NEED A HOT PRESSURE WASHER” job… π
