Pecking away at this thing trying to make it more comfortable/ quiet. Camping season is coming!
Also started insulating, and getting new panels from Clara installed:FranzKeymasterMarch 5, 2019 at 8:54 amPost count: 2813
Looking good. Where did you get the bluetooth unit?
Don’t put that foil back stuff behind the fuse block.Vwsarent4hippiesParticipantMarch 5, 2019 at 9:34 amPost count: 92

Everywhere but the front doors and roof is getting a layer of Fatmat followed by mass loaded vinyl from SecondSkin. The MLV is super heavy/ dense, which is why I didn’t put it on the roof. Seems more likely to hold water too, which is why it didn’t go in the doors. Fatmat takes the panel vibration out, MLV provides the sound/ temperature insulation. Lots of info out there on this stuff, decoupling layers, etc. It’s dumb, ha. Should be nice and quiet!volksaddictParticipantMarch 7, 2019 at 6:23 amPost count: 478
