We finished bodyworking removables and got them in poly on Monday.

We blocked out the shell and laid down 2K yesterday. 

Engine lid was in on the 2K as well. 

Blocking the roof this morning. Will have the whole shell in 2K today!!!

We will build it if it comes.

BOTH Pat’s worked all of 4th….   crazy mofo.’s..  Dirty P got the roof 100 % blocked and ready for 2K this morning.. then started blocking out removables… 😎  I was thinking paint next week.. but… I could see the bottom getting some love before that.!!!!!!!!!!  Clean P got ALL those parts hung and they are out in the booth ready to spray!!!!   woohoo Bob…. Good 4th of July for your bus…. 😎

I nailed it on the paint session this morning! Everything black got painted with the exception of the steering box, bumper brackets and engine tin. I’ll get those next round. Also made an order today with Wolfsburg West to get all the small parts for mechanical assembly

Made good progress today. Started of with a 2K session on the roof. 

 

Blocked out removables and covered them in 2K as well.

Bobyworked dash and another 2K session this evening. 

Rolled her over. Ready to have her belly rubbed in the morning. Shooting for a mouse grey paint session on the bottom side tomorrow afternoon. 

We will build it if it comes.

We know it’s not, but you guys make this all look too easy.

I wonder if my wife would give up her parking spot in the garage for me to park a camper bus beside the Ghia? 🙂
