Thinking of springing for one of these bikes. Leaning towards the first one, as it will be more practical as a grocery getter. Second one satisfies my lust for big tires, but the frame seems small for me. Either one is the same price; and right between cheap Chinese crap, and super expensive products I’ve been looking at. What you bike guys think?

Every time I see someone on one I think how awesome that would be.. 😎 and really open up my radius of roaming..
Ben.. You still ride that 29’er? wait.. better yet… when is the plane going airborne??????? 😎
Proud and Stubborn 👍🏻

Yep on the 29’er. Just rode it to breakfast Sunday. Airplane is still on the horizon. Pulling my engine off the fuse, and taking it to a guy for a look over and aluminum P/C’s. They are way lighter than the stock VW iron ones. Fall and winter are coming, retiring from steady work in December, so should see fast progress on the plane.

Bought this bad boy for my 62nd birthday present. Just did a 18 mile trip in a little over an hour, and I’m not wasted. 🤪 Electric motor pushes you right out. Check out Radpower Electric bikes. They have a bunch of cool models.

It’s a truck. Going to handle all my Ace Hardware runs.

pretty cool BEN!!!!!!
Proud and Stubborn 👍🏻
Craigslist find strait bar Schwinn. Clunker build? I’m guessing the 1945 registration is close to the vintage of the bike, by the black painted hubs, rim, and lack of skip tooth chain.
Score Franz!!!!!!! Don’t think that sprocket is Schwinn, I bet that came with a Sweetheart skiptooth sprocket and the sprocket and rear rim was swapped out with newer stuff, skiptooth chains are expensive!! In answer to the last question, skiptooth is an older style of chain and sprocket.
Hell yeah Franz, that thing has mega potential! Let me know when we go for beer run.
I re-purposed my step dad’s ol 50’s or 60’s 26″er Schwinn. Might just be my favorite ride.
We’re getting a bike park across the street from KCW.🤙 They started building it on Monday.
That’s awesome! You know where Franz will be for lunch. 😎
