Very excited and happy about all the great progress going on in our family.. Moving forward, moving upward.. I am excited to have Audrey down the street,,,, Zack moved back from Austin last week.. Nice to have him close again too…

Currently i’m at the apartment in Fruita AND my parents house 😅 Friday is my last day watching a kiddo at my place for a preschool sort of thing, and then my move out day will be June 15 – so we have a bit of time to get the barn more secure for all my stuff 🥴

I need to clean Greta out and set her up to do that ASAP though!! That’s my plan for sure 😁

Maybe you can get Greta cleaned out this weekend AND sneak a one nighter out somewhere!!!  Somewhere cool….. 😎 next to water??  😎 SUP!!???  😎  I know I am due for one, and liable to sneak out during the week!!!  😎     I like seeing Great across the street!!

Success!! Landon and I snuck in our one night of camping + moved four car loads of my stuff over to the house 😅

We went to Marble looking for Crystal Mill… got there later than I thought we would, so we found some of the most delicious BBQ we’ve ever had instead!! Slow Groovin BBQ 😎

Stopped at Beaver Lake outside Marble for a drink but no beaver sighting…

and ended up camping off a forest road at McClure Pass Summit (8793ft) off 133. It was beautiful with tons of wildflowers and aspens 😍 and not another soul in sight 👌🏻

It was still pretty muddy and chilly up there! I didn’t attempt the 4 mile 4×4 road cause I was worried about the mud and Greta was our only vehicle with no service more miles… if Id had my bus tribe with me (or even just another car 😅) I probably would have tried it though… I saw a Honda Pilot come down… didn’t see any of those at chicken corners… 😏

Back up to Marble to try the Crystal Mill Road! This time with the Pamper…😎

I set up the go pro on the Pampers roof-rack on the way down from the mill… so here its he full video if you’d like to see what the road was like! Much easier going down than up, of course – but way easier than hoorah pass!! 😜 The “hardest” part was the first mile  going in which was uphill and pretty slippery & gravely… I think if we’d have had to stop we would have had to coast back down to the beginning to get going again… other than that just taking it slow and trying not to let rocks hit your engine! 😉 What a BEAUTIFUL drive!!! 😍

We did determine we will need to replace that gasket we made out of cardboard in the desert… not just a few drops of oil upon arrival to KCW… still driving great though! Greta has treated me very well and man do I love taking her off road!!
