    Any info on starting date/time and location? Isn’t it 420am normally? I want to plan my route there

    We need to be in Shelter Cove on the 30th.  That gives John and I about 10 days to work our way up the coast. I hope to spend a few days at Pismo Beach running the dunes.

    Looks like about 900 miles of driving for me! Never driven to the coast in a bus, should be fun👍🏼

    Last year… I didn’t have a mid mount, and my front mount was coming loose and getting more and more fuckered up the whole time.. I had to put a tie down around the tranny and horns!!  This time I have a awesome rubber mid mount!!!!   😎  Going to be fun… 😎

    The place we are meeting up is wow!  😎

    I’m a little excited to plan a route for after BBB on our way to shasta!!!    Dan makes Pismo beach sound awesome… I’ve never been… and he’s bringing his rail!!!  wow…. We might have to ditch going to san diego and head straight for pismo..8-)  I need to look at a map…  Hpw about that Joshua tree I hear about??  Is that on our way to cali??  😎 3 week road trip….  SOOOOO stoked!!  We WILL be hitting Spencer Hot springs on our way back from Shasta!!!!!  😎  Would be cool to have a bus campout out there!!!!!!  I’ve always thought it would be cool to show up out there and there already be some busses!!!! 😎

    Joshua tree is awesome! That whole desert around that area is pretty trippy and cool.

    Havasu to Glamis Dunes : 2hr 41 min

    Havasu to Joshua Tree National park, Hidden Valley Campground : 3hr 58min

    Glamis Dunes to Joshua Tree: 3hr 4min

    Glamis Dunes to Slab City: 58min

    Joshua Tree to Oceano Dunes: 5hr 58min

    Slab City to Joshua Tree: 2hr 26min

    I was in Slab city a couple weeks ago. Pretty trippy. When you stop at Salvation Mtn ask for directions to the Art Gallery in East Jesus. It’s worth a visit. Don’t know if I would visit the hot spring though….

    On your way to Joshua Tree stop by the Salton Sea interpretive center for an hour. It is on the way. It has an interesting history and beach. NO swimming though.

    Joshua Tree is pretty cool. Last I heard the campgrounds in the park were closed due to the government shut down. Toilets were overflowing.
