We ARE having a blast!!!!!! Great birthday trip for John!!!!! He is LOVING IT!!!!! Dang it! I can’t get pics to load… I am standing on the roof of the bus, and still have one tiny bar… I guess we better get back out there and enjoy!!!!!!!!!

I had sooo much fun at the dunes…..     Friday getting there.. we were bombarded by a fucking muddy ass road.. Most mud I think I have plowed through!!!!   Baja and bus totally covered… totally!!!!  Pics later!!!!!     Found some mud puddles to get some of the mud off my rig!!!!  Dan showed up a little after us… it had dried some…  We swapped out all our tires and hit the dunes!!!!!!!!!!  It was soo much fun.. the smooth rolling hills of the dunes… the steep back sides and smooth faces… it was awesome….   Most fun I have had out with the baja since I did imogene pass!!!!!   I love the sand… I love the paddle tires….   I will be back to the dunes often….  It is exactly 2 hours from the shop… no stops in between either!!!  We had enough gas on the roof to pour in the bus to get home!!!!  Ofcourse, FREE as fuck camping anywhere you dare to go!!!!   Another Awesome cheap weekend of fun!!!! Our Volkswagens performed flawlessly!!!  and we were the only rails and or cars out there.. almost all dirt bikes… and some of those yuppie ass side by sides…. 😎

Got Sand????  😎   I’m hooked again…. 😎

Been a wild ride, but it got me here 😎

Great pics. Sounds like you guys had fun. I wish we had places like that to ride and camp in the middle of nothing but clear sky’s and stars.

Like John said, our weekend started out a bit muddy….. it looked like and was stuck on the Baja and bus like brown plaster!

 

John ran the Baja through as many puddles as he could find and managed to get some of the mud off of the beam, but it still wasn’t good enough…… so once we started wandering around with Dan we found a perfect pothole for a car wash… the most beautiful car wash I have ever seen!!!
