Ratchet strap girdle to prevent pulling on the rubber mid mounts. The force on a reduction box axle is opposite. Meaning the nose of the transaxle is pushing down on acceleration.

I also installed a empi conversion nose cone mount but without the bolts… It’s there to keep the transaxle from moving forward.

Is this thing still running a 2 litre with stock heater boxes? I’ve been nervous about mine lately with all this heat…

Yah, but it’s the best bus on earth so it doesn’t have that problem😃 It stays cool.

I took the heater boxes off of my bus before Moab. Definitely helped the ported 2276cc run cooler.

    Haven’t had issues… yet…

we drive it slow. Only ever cruise it at 3000rpm in 4th gear. Also it’s never weighed down like the pamper…. I think that all helps it stay cool. Not as many miles as the pamper either

custom fluted mega cb sump as well

imageHeaded to St George for some climbing this weekend! BBOE loves to crush miles on the 80 mph I15. Happy at 65-70mph all day. Over passes. On flats. Whatever!

We were all dreaming about that oven in the BBOE the other morning…talking about being able to bake an entire pack of bacon in there while camping 🤤🤤🤤 I think JJ would consider an oven in the pamper just for the bacon!!! The dogs wouldn’t be upset either 😏😏

Gotta love the quietness of the desert

Any of you remember what you used for the seat heaters in the BBOE? I’ve had a few people ask me where I got them. And I don’t know.
