Does it have a single cam EJ20? Is there enough room to fit a twin cam and still be able to close the engine lid? And how much trimming was needed to the front valance for airflow to the radiator?AndymParticipantMay 4, 2018 at 1:56 pmPost count: 979
Dual cam or single fits with a custom intake. Up front I cut 24” wide and 6” tall out of the apron and make a grill for air flow.
thanks JJ, it’s pretty cool having this work here.. wasn’t supposed to happen, but now I’m hiring a dude mid June to help. He’s always at my shop helping.PeteParticipantMay 4, 2018 at 2:03 pmPost count: 1134stschritterParticipantMay 4, 2018 at 3:35 pmPost count: 3
Thanks Andym. I found one of your threads on the samba and your instagram. Seeing nice clean installs really makes me want to do this to my notch.AndymParticipantMay 5, 2018 at 7:10 amPost count: 979
Send it down, I’ll get your car in.. transport from Washington can’t be too much.
Also thanks! Subi in a type 3 is awesome.VwfoolParticipantMay 5, 2018 at 9:56 amPost count: 928
I might have an empty trailer heading to Andy’s when I go to pick up my Big Bitch. I can probably do it cheaper than most transport companies.PeteParticipantMay 15, 2018 at 8:14 amPost count: 1134
Just like an air-cooled VW! 🙂 🙂 🙂AndymParticipantMay 15, 2018 at 8:56 amPost count: 979

Been busy at the subi swap shop, a lot of good shit happening. Swaps are coming and going. I don’t think I’ll ever be caught up, but I feel now with my helper that we’re making a dent in the current stable of cars.
Picked up a notchback in Pismo a few days ago, it’s here for a swap. Irs and subiFranzParticipantJune 8, 2018 at 7:28 amPost count: 5403
