Robert and I went to Silverton to do some pre-exploring 😉 I went ahead to the spot from last year to show people where that is… current plan is to meet there Saturday middle of day I think? I’ll double check with Cory that’s still cool 👍🏻 it’s his buddy’s vacant property that he unlocks for us to camp at 👍🏻 turn left at the courthouse – 15th st. It dead ends at a hill you go right up it and the property is right there before you switch back toward the Christ of the mines shrine 👍🏻
Last year we just moved the rocks and he had the gate unlocked for us 👍🏻 we of course need to be mindful since it’s someone’s property and there are portapotties in town just down the hill usually to use👍🏻below is the spot for July 3rd and 4th! Kendall mountain Rec area! Cory rented this out for us for Monday and Tuesday night! Thanks Cory!! I’ll have a donation jar out to help out with costs 😁🤙🏻
It’s right on 14th st. when you come into town – all the way at the dead end of the dirt road past the river👍🏻
we had a great time driving around town and went past up to Eureka and up in the beginning of the alpine loop!! It is gorgeous and fun dirt road driving!! Maybe we’ll cruise out there Saturday afternoon or Sunday?! that could be fun!! All the water is amazing!!! All the creeks and reservoirs and waterfalls are gushing!!!
