We had fun with Rusty’s baja yesterday, it left it’s mark. 🙂

He threw me a monkey wrench with the 28mm torsion bars, been a long time since I indexed a pair of those. First time we set it down the suspension wouldn’t even move. Second time was a charm tho, came out right. That ass end is not going to sag! Ditched the coilovers and sent him home with no rear shocks.

Yeah, way better!! So I’m lookin at shit on the computer and it says my ball joint beam blows for off-road!!!  Can/should I bolt in an early beam????? My fiberglass Buggy is a 68 and seems to work just fine????

Can’t just bolt an early beam in – linkpin is completely different with the tubes closer together. You’d need to swap the whole panhead 😅

There are adapters available to bolt a link beam to a ball pan, but they push the beam ahead by the thickness of the adapter. Primarily intended for buggies, but might not be a big issue with a Baja.

Your ball joint front end will be fine, you’re not racing the baja in it.
