This is probably around somewhere and I’m just not finding it.  Is your older content available anywhere?  I remember seeing some builds years ago where you were installing suicide doors on a beetle.  That was some of the first stuff I remember seeing on your forums (two or three versions ago).  Do you have it archived somewhere or did the library get burned down at some point?

Thanks Mr Jones! Ive been following since the brown frid . Bad ass was all I can say.. I saw it at a bakersfield car show and loved it.Never a dull read on this website. Always something to learn and be inspired. You’re the VW GOAT in my opinion. You may have not been the only contributor but you are the example that everyone can follow!

Select “Media” from the drop-down menu in the upper right of the page header (the three horizontal lines).  The old forum dialogue isn’t there, but the photos are of many old builds.

I gotta say my favorite build from back in the day is the PreA Dove blue outlaw I don’t think I’ve seen someone hit something outta the park like you did with your take on it Jones style I wish I could have bought that one.  I read your forums everyday with the morning coffee miss the days of the personal quick builds and crazy stuff you used to do obviously another time.  Congrats man you always do it your way.

I’ve had some sick ass cars!!!  The younger generation of builders won’t get the opportunity to own “baller” rides like Pre A Porsches and OG paint BD deluxes.. or 1947 cable brake, 25 horse slammed on earlies😎😎😎😎😎😎.   Shits too expensive now..  so they will also miss out on all the things you learn from building soo many personal builds!!!

It’s fun to go back and visit those memories!!!!  We had some good times..   We kicked some ass,   We did things..  We helped motivate people, inspire, and push our industry forward..   Sponsored that Vegas show for many years!!   We road tripped the fuck outta slammed VW’s!!!
