A big part of putting this Patina Volkswagens book together is searching high and low for old pictures… I have thousands on my laptop, but most are low resolution saved off the internet.

Earlier today I found a pic of JJ’s old BD23 with a Volksarama watermark. The site is no longer active, but I messaged Derek, who was super-cool about it and sent a bunch of pics from the cruise to Denver in 08. I thought I’d share some here. Big thanks to Derek ‘Boxrod’ Campbell for these. ?

I have a pic I took of that bus I saw in an old newspaper article hanging on the wall of the Hotel Colorado when I stayed there, its not a very good pic but I think its the only one of it in front of the Hotel Colorado.  I sent it to Gretchen and she said she would post it up for me. Thanks Gretchen!
