So the body is 15G?  Not a bad deal if it is nice!!!! 🙂
You know Buses are popular when they make Camaro like bodies.
15k buys a literal ton of Gerson Metal though.
Cool to see more metal being made.
People are forgetting you still have to paint it, restore all the parts, and do interior….and if you don’t have a donor bus, finding all the pieces is going to take some time and money.
Like they were saying on samba it would be good for re-vin’d crashed & rusty busses…but not going to be a low cost replacement for restoration.
Maybe all the Chinese parts we get now will fit better on a Chinese body…
Ha, build the whole thing with China parts.

I agree Franz. It won’t be a low cost build but will be good for one that is crashed and just rusted to total shit. Haha.
The bad would be people trying to pass it off as a original bus for big $$$ and not disclosing its a re-vin.
Done correctly people that want a nice bus won’t care if it’s a re-vin.

More metal is always good.
But I only want a real VW built bus. For me when you drive something old you feel the story of its life.
How much soul can a reproduction have? Also sucks to explain its not a real VW bus all the time if your honest, like a bd bluffer or a converted 21/23.
We will build it if it comes.
