Got my pit bike back together… Thanks again Travis..  Trade ya a t-shirt for a tube…. 😎 😎

Corporate and I did a monument run yesterday AFTER dinner…  (We have turned into a typical “old couple”…   News at 5pm, dinner at 5:30 pm, and on the recliners after that!!!  😎  )   But anyway.. She made some awesome fish taco’s… and then we hit the road… Went all the way over to the Fruita side and back on 340…     That monument never gets old…. 😎

My biggest problem riding a two wheeler… My right hand goes to sleep… constantly… 😎  😎

i wish i was closer to you guys, id love to ride and see that awesome scenery. if your right hand goes to sleep, you need to install a throttle lock so you can take your hand off the bar. common issue especially on longer rides.

One of my favorite rides on the Yamaha when I was up there. Did it about six times I think, and one and a half to Gateway. Good times!

Picked up this lil scooter over the winter. Gotta figure how to move it (build a rack or something) so I can take it camping.

<span style=”-webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);”>I think right wrist sleeping is pretty common with long rides. Doing the front fork seals today. Cleaned up the front brake cam to. Going to install my “tubeless” system on this bike too. It will allow super low air pressure with out the tube pinch flats.

Mighty fine on the 50 tire! I don’t mind changing mororbike tires anytime! I actually like doing em.

I am loading up the van and heading out here in about an hour for the weekend to Vermilion Canyon up northwest CO for some sandy single track shredding and training for a RMEC enduro up there in a few weeks -YES RACING AGAIN! I plan on doing another diatbike ride around here next weekend but totally will make some time for a street ride. Even an after dinner monument cruise sounds sweet! My chopper is not that comfy after an hour in the saddle. You can try expanding insulation foam in the handlebars or a lighter rate throttle return spring to help with tingle hand.

That is a purdy darn sweet CT70 Wayner!

Thats pretty cool gadget… 😎 I can just reach down and work my throttle… I should put a thumb screw on my throttle screw 😎 No that would be scary…. 😎

I have a similar device on my adventure bike and it works great. My hand would go numb after about 50 or 60 miles…now I can set it on long stretches and take my hand off and get the blood flowing again. Shit, I rode like 30 miles down the 395 with both my hands on the tank just chillin. It was a straight open area.

I went for a 150 mile ride today. About a 70/30 split of highway/dirt. I noticed my index finger on the throttle hand going to sleep at 50 miles in still on highway. It’s the vibrations in the bars that does it. Lots of manufacturer’s put bar weights in the end of the bars. It helps some, I think the throttle lock with a quick release is the ticket. I’ll be looking for one.

First segment of Bull Springs Road this morning. sorry about my big head. LOL! Had to make sure I was recording.
