Must have driven in a cross wind lately to want to have the steering box rebuilt. Or perhaps it was highway 1 from the coast to Leggett.

yeah….  my box is in need of some care and love… I think I have better than a 1/4 turn of slop in my steering wheel…. 😎   😎  I bottomed out SOOOO hard on a bump on that scarface road… I think it moved my wheel a little somehow????!!!!!! If I had a place inside, preferably a lift, I could leave my shit on for about a month… I would take it out and send it to WolfGang… but that not the case right now. 😎  I should try and find another one to send over.. They will probably tell me my 55 box is junk…. 8-(

I think about different projects all day long while working…   I never come up with any idea’s I can’t seem to talk myself right out of…  😎 😎 😎 😎  and hell…. I think all my shit could use at least a tune up…. 😎  Even the dually… it’s ready for a fresh paint job…. the baja needs some tightening up… and bus just got back from a road trip.. so.. yeah…. 😎

I can relate to that JJ! “I have so much to do and so little time” back to the future quote right there. I spend a little time with my split, 65 needs to be prepped for spring warm weather, I just serviced my DD Jetta and now had a CEL pop on it yesterday. My house just had the central air replaced end of last year(that hurt) and now I had a leak start in my plumbing. 60 year old copper was getting thin. Had a hole appear in the middle of a pipe so…. Jerk out all the copper and redid all my supply with PECS this past week. It is always something but that’s Life and it is far better than the alternative! I get a plan together for a day and it just never seems to go that way. Sometimes the day is better and sometimes it is just all screwed up  but thank God its another day  to watch my boy grow up with the best wife by my side.

More snow last night…  maybe I should be thinking snow instead of sand at the moment!  😎  😎  NAHHH  That shit will be gone tomorrow…. Temos will be up in around 30 days….  I’m gonna plan me a few day trip out to White Wash Sand dunes soon…. It’s the floy exit… the exit after the moab exit for us..   head south…. LOADS of area out there, a wash and some small dunes… 😎

Built myself a new beam and went through the front end,,,, Drove it on Saturday!!!  She’s much taller now!!!!  NO MORE rubbing!!!!!!!   I bought those Bilsteins… but I took them off the front… they were just too stiff….. They would be perfect had I not changed the beam and center block location… So I put the oil shocks back on…. and now the suspension moves…. 😎  Hell they are so charged… I think they were pushing up!!!!!!

Now I am where I was after I lifted the BBOE.. before I dropped the tranny…. a bit nose high…. 😎  Time for those Tripple RGB’s!!!!!!

JJ I have a couple Split steering boxes as spares not sure the condition of them. I assume I may have to rebuild the one in the Otter bus when I get started on that project soon.

JJ I have a couple Split steering boxes as spares not sure the condition of them. I assume I may have to rebuild the one in the Otter bus when I get started on that project soon.

I think they would be sweet on a large tire stock beam combo… No torsion adjusting required….  I just wanted mine higher than it was, and I’m prepping for tripple RGB’s!!!! 😎   They were 79 each from tire rack..  got em three days…   I left the rears on!!!!    But now I have a set of fronts   They would work on the rear also.. they were only slightly different dampening front to rear…
