Thanks guys!!!  I had another awesome weekend!!!  Getting shit done, marking things off my list of todo’s.

my car has come along ways since CRANDON 🤫🤫🤫.   Put a type one nose cone on my trans, like it should have!  And adjusted my rear mount to match it😏😏😏😏😏😏😏. Moved the gas tank lower and got it off my rear axle..  a little less weight on my torsions.  Moved the battery, moved the seats up a hair,   Less skid plate, and I bet lighter.  I put all new aluminum bolts and plastic washers holding my fenders on….
Audrey has us all signed up all our tickets bought and we ordered the tire groover last night!!!!’

full mock-up again with trans and an engine block.  My motor got closer to my skid plate.. real close!  Shortened my skids up too….
can’t wait to weigh it!!

Aluminum bolts, didn’t know they made such a thing. No worries about different metals on the race car I guess, if it comes apart all the time.

Double skid in the rear!!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻   I need to attach them together so they aren’t slapping around🤫🤫🤫🤫.   I’m gonna bolt or weld something to the bottom of my tranny mount so it is the lowest spot not my case🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫

Yeah, you need at least a little room between the engine and the plate so a hard whack on the plate doesn’t impact the engine case.

I did full mock up, axle tubes and all….   Shits looking good!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

And came up with a simple way to keep them axle tubes from moving..  the bolts could be loose and still not move👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

with my type 1 nose cone and new stops out back, I have very little camber now, at full drop!!!  And the 14” limit straps will be perfect to limit it to zero camber!!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻   Fuch yeah guys!!!

counter sunk 4mm holds the skid plate from apart.😎. It’s nice and stiff now!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻   I need to make a little axle boot clearance and I think every box has been checked as far as mock up.  She’s ready for final assembly after today!!!

I did all kinds of little stuff today, I’ve checked it all off!!  Even did stuff like a new antenna cable, Red Dome light repair and install.. worked on the pass door more.. shuts like butter!!!  Ports powers can fix a lot of door issues 🤫🤫😁😁🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫
