Worked on Zoeys ride yesterday. The brakes sorta worked.
Decided to replace the rear wheel cylinders. Pass side had a snapped off bleeder figured it may be the cause trapping air in the wheel cylinder.
Those helped but did not fix it all the way. MC was the root cause. Fresh one in. Brakes work great!
Slipped the new speedo cable in and adjusted the front wheel bearings also.
We will build it if it comes.
Woo hoo fuck yea Pat. I never checked the ailment and tighten tie rods. Fuel gauge install and a good test drive to roosters and Zoey’s car should be ready to Rip up some turf!! Thanks guys for all the work u put in on my projects. I will see u Saturday
Can’t wait to see it on the new shoes!!!
Never make someone a priority, that makes You and Option. 🤔🤔🤔🥲
Made it home last night in Zoey’s bug. I had a vapor lock. Issue when I stopped in rifle for gas. I put in a few gallons and it would start. Fuel was bubbling in the filter. Took a 30 min smoke break and she fired up. Runs great pulled 60 uphill on the way home.
Nice work Jesse,
awesome bug for Zoey !
Wooo!!!
We will build it if it comes.
I think she is going to enjoy her bug. I do need a turn signal switch for a 66 model if u got one it’s about to shit the bed.. she runs good and looks good too
Freakin Awesome… I love seeing VW guys put their kids in Volkswagens… 😎 😎 😎 It’s how it’s supposed to be… 😎 😎 😎

you just know shes having so much fun driving that bug
Fixed the the blinker switch that wasn’t too bad just needed some fine tuning!! Went for lunch and franz noticed a noise coming from the tunnel. He say it’s broke free inside the tunnel. He said I need to cut a whole the size of a piece of bread so he can weld up a bracket that holds my shifter linkage thingy. I am like fuck this car gas carpet and seat well damm
Nice work Jesse! Seems like every bug needs that job done at some point. Zoey has a sweet first car!
We messed with the 30/31 pict 1 carburetor for a few hours yesterday. Setting float height and jets. Ended with a 60 idle, 130 main, 60 accl nozzle to get the 1776cc running sweet with the merged exhaust header. Probably the best engine combo for simplicity and power.
Zoey really has great little car.
Yup! Can’t wait to see her try to roll in a vintage VW instead of a lame ass normal cheap unbreakable Japanese automatic sedan!!! For Sure she wants that on her list of struggles learning to drive, live life, and growing up!!!! C’mon Jesse, call these dumb toys yours….. We love em but don’t give the Girl a burden….. Give her yer Truck and drive the Fun/Eclectic/ Stupid shit yourself!!!
I remember Rusty building a cute bug for his daughter too… we did the same for Audrey…. Hahahaha…. 🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈
we all START with a bug for our children…..😁
I love going on adventures in our bus!!!
