I forgot to mention, I got a new job. Maybe I can just stay with the GOV and work on my own projects LOL
Composites, plastics and rubber fabrication. Been doing it for about three months seems alright, way better than tracing down bad wiring and troubleshooting faulty communication devices.
Sold the Metro, bought a Buick Roadmaster Wagon. The Geo Storm had sprung a coolant leak. Unfortunately have to take apart half the engine to get to it. Centurion’s front calipers locked up for some reason. swapped them out, going to delete the ABS next.

Hope your feeling better.. and some change at the GOV job sounds nice… I just went back and visited a few of my old friends from Tinker AFB… Nothing has changed back there… Seeing a few of them guys and noticing they all have some sort of “side gig”.. reminds me of one of the biggest reasons I had to leave Tinker… but damn it is safe and comfy.. 😎
Had one of those big old Buicks for a while. Looked almost exactly like yours right down to the fake wood trim. We called it Moby Richard. Put a zillion miles on it back when I had a custom hauling / delivery service. I could load that thing up to the ceiling and hook up a loaded 7×14 enclosed trailer, run back and forth across the country in major comfort and get 20 + mpg doing it at 70 mph and up.
This one has heavy duty springs and shocks, helper airbags, and trailer brakes controller. Was told it needed an oil pump so I went and picked it up with a trailer, got it home swapped out the oil pressure sensor and it’s good to go. Been driving this grandma’s couch on wheels to work. Lol shortly after I bought this I was offered a trade for my centurion for this wagon. I like this wagon but I like my truck too. Dually still needs bagged, so wheels and a drop is all that’s planned for my wagon.
