Thanks man. It really needed a skin, but they said it would have totaled out.
Finally got this motherfucker to run under load without spittin’ and sputterin’. I still think I need to have a shop do a crankshaft variation relearn, still getting a random misfire code, but this piece of shit runs!
Have a VW Tiguan to repair, another tree/hurricane incident to fix, then maybe get on with a slam job and some new treads.
The distributor was the issue. drove it 200+ miles today, no issues.
no one cares about that distributor… we want to see it all layed the fuck out… π

Well, if no one cares about the distributor, they probably won’t care that I changed out the transmission filter and pan gasket that was leaking all over the ground.Β π
Going to extend my front control arms 2.5″ but other than that going to run my 3/4 ton stuff.
Extending lowers/uppers? Why? Details please.

I have 3/4 ton hubs, they donβt poke out like the 1ton dually hubs. Dually hubs would put my wheels out another 4.5β and I donβt want that much so iβll Keep the 3/4 tons and widen the track width 2.5β a side.
Thats how my rig is also… I think you have to do that to tuck them semi’s up under it… πΒ Get more lift with longer arms also…Β Β Β I swapped to my 22’s a few months ago…. but my turning radius is worse with the 22’s… When you turn full tilt, they hit the a arms and tie rods.. the 24″s were big enough to clear all that….. So I think I will go back to the 24″s next time I pull it in the shop….
If you want to move to colorado and put a pile of money in my hands for my shop… I’ll throw in the dually for free… π SaveΒ you some time.. π and money….. π
