This is the 1974 Honda XR75 I had when I was 10 yrs old. Not the actual one I had but just like it. I sold it when I was teenager for $100….what a idiot.
They have become popular again with those that remember them from their childhood and had one, or wanted one, and prices has risen in the last few years.

I was lucky enough to find another one a few years ago that was completely restored. Guy in Fl. had it restored, rode it maybe 3 times, and kept in the finished room over the garage, then later divorced and wanted to sell it.

Me at age 10 or 11. Notice all the safety equipment. Haha. My parents didn’t know where I was at most of the time I was gone on it.

Bad news on the silver 97 4 door ex. The block is cracked. Matt Peet installed the rebuilt head, and took it for a test drive to find it was pushing antifreeze out.

So, now the plan is to pull the engine on the red car, slap the rebuilt head on it, and put it in the silver car.

The red car is dead to me. 😢 Anybody want to buy a clean builder with title for $700? It would be fun to make into an electric vehicle.

I have been trying to find / buy either a Honda 600 coupe or 83-85 Civic Hatchback for a long time. Had them in the past and fun drivers and at 50 plus MPG they were great rides.
