Lunar Rock 🙂 like grey green.

Cavalry Blue is Toyota for Dove, they discontinued it in 2018. I searched for a used one nation wide for several months, they want almost as much and sometimes more for a 2 yo truck as new one, fuck that. Stupid people will pay new price for used if they can take it home that day!

They say less that 20% of the tacomas are made in access cabs these days, all the rest are the 4 full size door ones. Family truck. fuck that too!

I don’t drive daily..  Which I feel real lucky about!!! Saves me a ton of money.. 😎 😎 😎 😎

But I hope I can make my dually and my buses last the rest of my life.. I really don’t desire to own anything else..  If you think about it.. I can’t drive “regular” cars.. I’d like to get back to that one day but kinda doubt I will. Modern cars are like crack, you get a taste of comfortable, easy, get in and go – and make it back without thinking about mechanicals, and it’s hard to go back.

When I go out to work I want to get it done and not think about how I get there, the opposite of “it’s not the destination, it’s the journey”

Got my dually back on the lift..  I need to make sure it is in good shape for going to the Dunes!!!  😎  My hood cracked again!! Maybe it’s from me dropping it when I close it.. I need to treat it like panties… 😎 😎 😎 😎 😎 😎 😎 😎 😎 😎 😎 😎   I have painted the hood of this truck soooooooo many times….   Jeff, You ever have to repaint the toyota? 😎 😎 😎 😎   I also don’t remember last time I changed the oil on this rig…. 😎 years… 😎  I need to put some shorter limit straps on the back of this… I am also considering putting my goose neck ball in the bed.. humm…

New daily had it’s maiden voyage.

Emergency family trip to Cali, started with 32 miles on it, about 2k miles in 4 days, have not opened the hood yet- ever, don’t even know what it looks like in there. First time I’ve felt like I fit in with the Benzos, Lambos and P cars in my bro’s parking garage. And I didn’t leave mud piles this time. 🙂

So smooth, easy driving, quiet, 12 hours on the road and no sore back. Brought back half a ton of loot effortlessly. Crazy cruise control, you set it and it goes… paces the trucks in front of you, slows down behind them and speeds back up when they move over. Great sound system, Serius, gps, navagation 🙂 🙂 🙂

It’s got a lot of bells and whistles John, upper end of the scale for a 4wd taco. With taxes, mfgr add-ons, warranty for the radar sensors and 3 miles of wiring (no joke), insurance for the $1400 windshield (!)  there was not much left of 50k 🙁  Dealers are asking that much and more for slightly used that you can drive home today! Wouldn’t buy it if it wasn’t a company write-off.
