Im still struggling with the carbs. they were kinda nasty inside and were holding old gas. Helmer stopped by yesterday and we took them apart and cleaned them out. still no luck. They were missing the main jets in both carbs, so I installed some that I had.

last night I watched a video on rebuilding them  and I may have lost the little bearing under the gas spout. Ill dig into them today after wood.

I really thought you were buying a set of perfect carbs from a bud..  but.,  he forgot to tell you a few things.,  like he stole the main jets!!!  I hope you get it sorted..   Corporate and I will be super close if you want us to stop by🤔

There’s not a lot to rebuilding K-Dog’s.  Sound like you’re gonna need a needle and seat, if you lost it.  Get some rebuild kit’s.  Set the float level.  Make sure the fuel pressure is spot on.  Kadron’s are sensitive to fuel pressure.  If I remember correctly, they want to see 2.5 lbs.  Balance them with the crossover hose clamped so that one side doesn’t affect the other.  Caddy Shack or Low Bugget would likely be able to assist you with jet choice.  One last thing, get rid of the OG linkage and upgrade it to a Skat linkage.  The only problems I’ve had with Kadrons is that shitty linkage popping off at inopportune moments and freezing manifolds before I switched to AL ones.

I have an old copy of the Gene Berg instructions on setting they up.  I’d be happy to post a screenshot of it for you.
