    ha! no. im here

    not much going on.  still have vertigo. 23 days now. nothing has worked. frustrating

     

    I have been tinkering with the 65 kombi a few hours a day and thats been good.

    Im packed for baja but Ill need to wait until this shit passes

    after a quick search I found this photo of my first split bus. Prolly circa 92?

    I bought that bus in Durango for $150

    1965 standard. We had to hot wire it to get it going, no keys at the sale l.

    Was w my friend ned (who is one of my best bros today) and another friend mark (who ended up building the house I live in)

    I saw John’s oval in the KCW randomness thread and thought I’d dig out an old shot

    i don’t know who that is in the photo

    the shot was taken in kill devil hills, outer banks NC. chases a girl out there. Hahah

    so many stories from that bus/trip

    My 1st bus, bought it when I was 17. Got my hitchhiker to take this picture on the way back from Colorado in tuba city, with my then puppy Emma!
    still making great memories with this bus!
