That’s a great idea Pete! I’ll measure the screw holes today and make sure they will line up

That’s what we’ve done in the past.

Make sure you get any new plastic sliders, clips, etc. that you can. Those usually crumble when pulled apart. Take one window apart first so u know what you need.

We will build it if it comes.

Haha! Always nice n cuddly! Helps keep you warm when it’s 8 degrees out!

ya… I held off messing with them… but the broken ones rattle pretty bad even with them wired shut… trying to do all the little things I’ve been putting off! No time like now.

I finally got my front door handles working nice! Soaked the mechs and ice picks in gas over night. Got them all working properly. Found a spring for one of the ice picks that was missing… Franz helped me figure out I had the wrong ice pick on the driver door making the handle stick open and almost bow the whole door out all weird. Figured out it was the wrong size of arm that pushes on the mech. I ground it down and works like a charm! Getting stuff put back together. Wood panels soon too! Hopefully Seth will come down today… said he would B4780345-83F0-42E0-9435-5C400E751CABdifferent arm sizes. I have recessed base doors on this bus. So I think the handle bases are closer to the door mech. All the little details!

Left early Saturday morning for a short little shakedown run! Ended up being out there in the west desert longer than anticipated so I decided to stay the night at baker! Always so fun out there. No one out on Saturday. Bus ran great! Some small tweaks and then SST!  4328AB5A-3FAE-436B-96E2-4180CD8EBD16EC0510E8-2923-4A58-877C-6F3DFA4FD85BC151DAB2-8EC0-4B0D-81EA-CA1B86F00F19FBA253A8-0A93-4CB5-8097-45C8696D5B0939254302-0F51-4277-A5B6-EF41DAA2DB5FFun technical section112D3C39-9388-47FD-8C76-C1F82427E951E86947FF-46EA-477E-8E12-8335A100B2E9wild horses I’ve seen out in this canyon before A89D8DD2-5D77-48F9-AAE4-59FF3815DDBC9F79DAA5-1C40-49EA-8819-2D6AC8C33DE58E64C813-17B9-480C-ADC3-A1D25A7D0648E82A62F5-D25B-4A0D-A3DD-F6F4118460B36F804C21-35DC-444E-86FF-B045D2CD4196muddy Django.BAA6C35A-4D9C-4B5E-B520-2125BBEC9E86C2BA2DDF-6025-48B2-A616-5F66D26C4F999D6F6A70-9287-4438-9F58-8847A6FE6144488B3503-6313-4408-BBFD-C0F0A77BEAA3FE6FC257-5CAF-4641-9C56-54A84E835674Cold this morning! Took a lot longer than anticipated! Woodwork is super hard! Kicked my ass! First time really doing anything with wood. Not perfect, I want to change a couple things. But for now I’ll roll with it. I’m sick of working on it haha!

thanks to pat for all the answers to my questions and for some of the panels! Helped a ton

That’s a great improvement!  The paneling makes it look like it would be a lot warmer to camp in….nice work.

Bubba! They’re a fucking pain in the ass! I need to re do the front one. But for now I’m content. Haha should hopefully help keep some warmth in. I tried the metal stuff pat and couldn’t wrap my head around it. First try with the wood frame turned out ok. I’ll retry that sometime too. But the plywood can be reused on that panel. Just need to mess with the frame

yup. Planning on leaving SLC early in the am tomorrow
