Me and my buddy have been putting this flat windshield Super Beetle together. I thought I’d give painting another try.

also, building an island buggy for the family.

Widened all four fenders 2”. Did the fronts a little different so the headlights wouldn’t get wider. Shaved the center vents on the deck lid. Cut a huge ragtop hole for one of those Brazilian ragtop kits. Built some one-off adjustable struts. And drank a bunch of beer.

Hell yeah the German look supers were always some of my favorites in the car magazines!

 

I just picked up this 71 vert to flip but it runs so damn good I’m going to have trouble letting it go!
