We can probably bring a couple of our paddle boards for BBB! Sounds like the Swivel is going across the block early Saturday, within the first few lots is the rumor. Same with some of Magnus Walker’s Porsches. I think I’m planning on driving my bus to Phoenix from Scottsdale. Pretty sure wristbands for the auction are like ~$30.

I fear this Auction is gonna kill my BBB camping time…. 😎  Although… I am going early… so I will be pretty camped up I guess…

So I guess I a gonna go early, get our spot, and then hand it off to someone friday afternoon… and head to Scottsdale for the auction…???  Thinking out loud here…   stay in scottsdale friday night, go to the auction early saturday, head back o BBB saturday evening??  Kinda hoping we are celebrating… 😎

I will probably take my bus… I’ll have my dogs.. and you guys know they will be looking all over for us!!!!!   I’ll just have to keep a route out… which won’t be hard since I am gonna be leaving friday probably before lunch.. I bet people will still be showing up…   Now, getting back to my spot on saturday night, might be a challenge… 😎

Looking forward to seeing you all again this year at BBB. I have semi-retired from BBB after 21 years of busting my ass for it and the only thing I do now is handle vendors and raffle prizes. I would suggest trying to get here early Wednesday to get in line. Better chance of getting the spot you want. The LBB are not holding or guarding spots this year. The people that have had their sites for 10 plus years, etc have to have someone in their spot by noon Thursday or it becomes open to anyone. The LBB made this decision after to many people complained about “THEIR SPOT”. With over 600 plus buses attending it has become a PITA.  Bring lots of money so you can buy shitloads of raffle tickets to win the BAJA BUG we are raffling off!

SAFE travels and we’ll see you all in a few weeks.  Good Luck at the auction JJ, I hope the bus breaks records, never seen one like it go through an auction so it could be groundbreaking.

Good call Ronnie! As much as I love “our spot”  I did notice how much trouble everybody claming a spot had become! 🙁 I also noticed that the vast majority of the spots claimed by older clubs for years and years were barely half full 🙁  i’m sure everybody’s gonna cry just as much this year for not holding spots as they did for having their spots taken but it’s probably a step in the right direction management wise!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂

Good to hear from Ronnie…. One of the mentors in my life.. 😎  Ronnie has been there for me.. 😎  Ronnie… I was thinking maybe we could do dinner Tuesday evening…  I’m gonna roll up on your door step Tuesday eve for dinner….  😎  😎  be ready… 😎

As far as our “spots”.. Yeah, I guess we get protective of them after having them year after year… I always thought it was pretty cool that the “usual’s” got to claim a spot after years of having it, and expect it to be there if they don’t show up till Friday…   It was a gesture of respect to the “groups” that always supported and always showed up….   But.. I also get it….  It’s petty… I know…   I was hoping to have one of “Those spots”..  But I am also ok with just getting in line early!!!!!!  I will be very near the fr0nt of the line this year… even if I have a “reserved” spot.. 😎  Not taking the chance this year.. 😎

Looking forward to seeing you and the family JJ. The saving spots has turned into a PITA. PLUS I’m retired from that aspect of BBB. I just want to relaax and enjoy BBB. I have nothing to do with anything there this year except making sure the vendors are happy and we have great raffle prizes. WE are raffling off a BAJA BUG at this BBB. It was donated to us from one of the old Hot Rod guys here in town by his wife after he died, it was his wish. A good friend of mine who knew the guy helped put this all together for us.  See you soon and your more than welcome at my HOME
