Looking good ! Wish I could make it over for the Bug In, but can’t get away. No VWs on the Green (again) and no Bug In and I still have a pile of VW stuff that needs to be at a swap meet .

Thanks Dakine. I am looking forward to having the car back out. I missed having a cruiser. Big 0ower is fun, but can also be a pain. I hope next year there’s a VWOTG. Been too long. Covid is bull shit. Needs to be over with. Here hoping for 2023.

Thanks Franz. Firewall took forever to dimple out. The dimples line up with the ribs in the the package tray. I didn’t want anything to rub or be pushed out.

Actually it wasn’t that bad. Mid 80’s but had cloud cover and a breeze. Good weather for the show. Had a good time. My brother and I ended up on the corner, so plenty of room to hang out.

Thanks. I figured if I was going to put aluminum there, why not have some fun with it. The rear panels are done also. When I get it out of the garage, I’ll get one of the whole interior.
