Picked up and dialed in this oval beetle today for KB. Psyched to be able to drive his one around a bit!
Clean car. Changed out the battery cables and did a tune up of the motor. It’s a cool motor with a lot of “vintage speed” type stuff on it. It’s a 1776 if I’m not mistaken.
Sweet interior with a couple hidden gauges(fuel and temp) in the middle of the dash.
Porsche seats
356 speedo and tachometer
lots of sick little details on this car
Polished Porsche drums that look badass behind the black Porsche wheels.
Morris Bros have the same drum lathe that you guys have at KCW. Jack and I spun the rear drums and made the brakes feel great.
got the brakes readjusted and drove it around all over tonight. Runs great! Psyched on this one
Yep, an Unbelievable VW treasure!!!! Glad you found it!!!!!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
Sweet Oval! Love the Porsche touches…the brakes are beautiful.
Thats a sick ass ride Cole.. Big Pimpin…. 😎
All work and no play makes JJ a dull boy🤣
Keeping a lid on it😎
Attitude is everything 🤔How do you like driving around a “sporty” beetle compared to all the busses you have been driving the last few years… ?

Attitude is everything 🤔It’s a lot of fun. A lot different. Feels closer to the way 356’s drive. But I’m still a bus guy, through and through. You’ll have to drive this car, it’s sick. Plan is to put a new motor in KB’s speedster and then put that speedster motor in this beetle. That’ll be a cool “vintage speed” touch
