started out as a parkway project,,,, tune up…. brakes etc….
Then she decided she wanted to paint it… So we started taking it apart.. Fender bolts are breaking off, bumper bolts and mounts are fucked up, fuck.. so we dig a little deeper… and see it needs heater channel caps…. Fuck.. so we pull the body.. Mean time, she goes on vacation in Russia… For months… She finally comes back and comes down thinking we are done and she can pick it up…… She shows up….. I tell her it needs a full resto and it’s gonna be about 6 times more money than I thought.. 😎 She thought about it for an evening…. and said, “Lets do it, I want a parade car”… I said no problem…. So… it turned into a full resto…..
So I am starting a thread, in hopes, that my guys will update it.. and give me a place to point Galina to to see pics of this resto in process…. 😎 We have been working on it on and off for about 6 months…. But metal work is done… and final dust off is happening on shell tomorrow.. then it’s body work time!!!! and hopefully have it painted in the net two weeks or so and in the clean shop!!!!!
I think it will be just like Franz’s bus… Blue white outside, all turkis inside??? I am honestly still not sure… she is Russian.. and it’s kinda hard to understand each other…. 😎

Working removables. Deck lid and hood yesterday, dooors this morning. Should have all those in poly this afternoon.
Chris has fenders dusted off. Shell is in the booth ready for the same.
We will build it if it comes.
Doors getting the love today… New hinge pins for the drivers door… Lower is at 2nd over.. 😎 Might have 4 parts in poly today!!!
