    Yup! I’m hoping we can leave here the 10th, camp, then see you all on the 11th so we can all celebrate the back to back 27th birthdays! Long overdue for a proper KCW visit.

    Seems like I have an oil cooler leak given all the wetness I’ve got around my 3/4 side of the engine. That and every time I punch it lately I see smoke from oil droplets hitting the exhaust 😅

    Whats your normal checklist for “while I’m in there”

    Oil cooler leaks are usually substantial…. But maybe..   Get oil pressure and turn it off and check your oil..

    Maybe it was just pushing the extra oil out of every opening it could… weird that it’s just the 3/4 side though.

    Been busy for sure! Good though. Hoping that I’ll have some more time for bus trips soon. There’s a ton of good camping here, but it’s harder to get there. I miss the ease of access Colorado and Utah offer.

    I had a similar leak.  It ended up being the cooler itself.  It was a new cooler when my motor was built, but I guess it didn’t last long.  I had Painters pressure test it.  Unfortunately, I originally thought it was the seals.  2 times pulling the motor to get it solved.  If you pull the motor, check the seals and cooler at the same time.

    Yeah, that’s kinda what I’m thinking too… Now that I’ve drained the extra oil out I think I’m gonna wash the oil off and see if it comes back. Science!

    Not yet. It’s been a headache of getting the birth certificate, then getting the birth certificate corrected, then getting the ID tags put back on it, etc. It doesn’t help that its at my relatives house in Santa Monica either. I need to bring it over to my place so I can actually list it and show it without driving across town… I need to have it gone soon though. If you know of anyone in the market send them my way!
