in reply to: Going Stateside? #13790I “used” Pacific Customs Brokers. Their fee was $275, which as mentioned was refunded. Forms were a Power of Attorney for them to act as my agent, a Homeland Security form, an EPA form, and a Dept of Transportaion form. I don’t think I filled out anything to pay the duty; they may have calculated the fees due off of the Bill of Sale.

I called 2 different Ports at Niagara Falls US. Both have different answers.
Lewiston crossing tells me i need a broker.
Peace Bridge crossing tells me just bring it across. I need bill of sale, Title, and a photo copy of Buyers passport. Fuck it, might as well give the Peace bridge option a try as im approx an 1hr away.
