Hey Franz, I simply take the information and type up a ‘word ‘document,then print it out on a clear transparency and use an old school overhead projector .With this technique I can make sure the info fits the panel , before I start drawing.

The ‘on tap’ image is something I drew previously and made a copy of my own work..and as you can see… once I’ve got that on a transparency,I can play with the different colours.

As a signwriter,for many years I set everything out with lead pencil and applied it freehand.However,the interior LED lights used today make the graphite pencil lines show and reflect plus using the overhead is faster and more accurate.

…. all the work is hand drawn… they haven’t invented a robot to replace me yet .
