Test Pilot @ Submarine Airwaysin reply to: KCW randomness #47172Hey Franz, I simply take the information and type up a ‘word ‘document,then print it out on a clear transparency and use an old school overhead projector .With this technique I can make sure the info fits the panel , before I start drawing.
The ‘on tap’ image is something I drew previously and made a copy of my own work..and as you can see… once I’ve got that on a transparency,I can play with the different colours.
As a signwriter,for many years I set everything out with lead pencil and applied it freehand.However,the interior LED lights used today make the graphite pencil lines show and reflect plus using the overhead is faster and more accurate.
…. all the work is hand drawn… they haven’t invented a robot to replace me yet .

Yes, I have some of my parents paintings in our home and cherish them as both are now gone.
As we live close to the ocean, I did these to brighten things up
