Cool to see the bus in person.  I made the drive out from Denver to the show.  Nice to hang out with Cole and Franz.

The only thing this bus needs is a Blaze cut over the motor.  It’s the cheapest insurance addition.

Sorry to hear Will.  She seemed happy and fine at the Huntington Beach GTG.

Total BS they cancelled the show.  It’s at an air field.  Park on the asphalt.  Not good for the VW scene in CO.

I had a similar leak.  It ended up being the cooler itself.  It was a new cooler when my motor was built, but I guess it didn’t last long.  I had Painters pressure test it.  Unfortunately, I originally thought it was the seals.  2 times pulling the motor to get it solved.  If you pull the motor, check the seals and cooler at the same time.

    John,

Not Colorado related, but are you guys planning on going to the Utah Classic show in September.   I’m thinking of making that my annual road trip in my bus.

    Hey John,

Just curious if this is campout is on your radar again this year?   I’m itching for another road trip in my bus and am looking for something different than a long haul to CA.  Looking at your videos, it looks like a blast.

    Regards,

    Scott

If there is any bad smell in the bus from mice urine, go to Petsmart and get Nature’s Miracle Urine Destroyer.  It works magic on mice urine.  When I got my bus it had a ton of nests in it.  It didn’t smell until I put water to it.  Thank goodness for the Urine Destroyer.

Job well done.  I think a preservation is better than a restoration in this case.

Willy gave me a pair of 55 CO plates for x-mas… Pamper is a 55…. 😎 I should get them registered..

Just so you know, when you register the YOM tags in CO they do not tie back to your collector plate if a cop runs them.  They will not pull up your vehicle.  Trust me I know.  I got pulled over and had to show my collector plates.  The YOM tags are only supposed to be used for car shows and parades, etc.   I finally switched back to my ugly collector plates so I wouldn’t be pulled over for no reason.  I actually had a cop run them one time when I was getting gas to verify the other incident was warranted.  The cop verified it for me.

However, the YOM plates are cool looking.

Stay diversified.  You never know when one of the 3 would dry up.  At least you have options.
