Not feeling it!☹️ The seat frame I’m assuming is 53-55 is way different than the Split frame I’m trying to make a brace for. I made tabs, curved the brace, added dimples and then test fit. Uh, well, no rear spring seat frame for the tabs to attach to and I’m also noticing that the top seat bar is much more square than the later version. Thinking it’s more likely my seats need a straight slotted channel on the bottom with no tabs. Not sure on dimples?

I don’t even know if I can call it a baby step! 😀Anyways, gonna weld on the square tabs and try to figure an easy way to make those pressed out holes on the tube. Anybody know what they are for?? Also, anybody know if I’m making the right brace for a Split? I’m basing this off of what I think is a Zwit/Early Oval seat. Split frame on top, later frame on bottom.
Funny my sleeping Split popped up in conversation. Last weekend I cleaned up the garage a bit and decided to mess with this project cuz I’m SOOOOO FOCUSED!!!! My Split seats I pulled outta TomToms were both missing the lower brace on the top section so I am working on making some new ones based on what I think is a Zwit seat frame anybody know if this is this correct???
Can I join the team???? It ain’t Dove Blue but I’ll happily puts around some dirt roads and lug around a cooler and some easy-ups!!!!! 😀😀😀😀😀
